Feedback And Support Were Vital
When I came back to the book I realized that the 1st version was beyond terrible but, it had a unique story to tell. Unlike many books out there and that's what I liked. I started writing the beta version when i was 23, and i become passionate with Tiberanic in general as I even created this website alongside a friend who is still helping me maintaining it.
I started telling to people about my project (friends, mates, family etc) in order to gain publicity and thanks to that Tiberanic quickly become famous around my people, and after we published the website (Thanks weebly) we had 700+ visitors ONLY during it's first week after publishing and man, even weebly congratulated us no kidding!
Nowadays, with more than 2000 visitors and more than 200 downloads monthly
I can't be happier.. Tiberanic finally gets the attention she really worths!

Back to myself and the book now, I was writing about 4 pages daily, extending the episodes from the 10 pages limit of the alpha version to 30-40 pages in the beta version. Adding humor, detail and to the reader the feeling that he was actually onboard, just by reading the book.
I was going to school these days, attending advanced level of "Multimedia And PC programming" and the most of the time there, when we were doing nothing in the classroom I was writing the book and also had a few classmates support and ideas, to help me with the story and how to make it better and more suitable to the public taste. Soon I was attending the classroom and my classmates were asking me things about Tiberanic's news, others were asking me if they could be characters in the story, others out of curiosity were asking me things about the story in general. I was very happy to see this support and soon, even a little fan base in here.
This pushed me to the next level.
I started writing the final Greek version in Microsoft word (the majority of nowadays writers use word), and this gave me a HUGE opening in writing. I could fix grammar errors instantly now! Hell I had no idea it was that easy! Not only that..
Did I imagine a new scene? Νot a problem! I just go to where it happens, and write it there.
Writing on PC really made the writing much easier and I could edit and add stuff without issues. If you are thinking about writing a book, I suggest you to do it on a PC instead of paper. There is no comparison here, writing on a computer is a LOT easier.
Now the final version is what I would call, the definitive version of Tiberanic. I did use the beta version as a base, and expanded from there. There were tons of missing scenes in the 1st chapter that I didn't write in the beta (I couldn't just go back and add them on paper), so I basically wrote an almost entirely new Chapter 1. With an extra episode too. The final version is the one that I'm currently writing (as of 2021) and the one that's gonna be the best. You gonna say "But Denis, there is a reason you call your previous versions alpha and beta"
and my answer is "Shut up alright? Yes, you are right". Point is, the final version is not only final because it has added scenes and fixes, it's the final version because I grew up with Tiberanic through the previous handwritten versions. With the final being written in word, it's an entirely new experience for me. Hence why I mentioned it like it's a big deal, because it is for my noob ass in writing.
The final version also pushed me to start remastering Tiberanic. As I was writing new scenes, new places on Tiberanic were added in the book. Places I had to also add on the ship in Photoshop. In 2020 I went back to writing again. and started working on the model as well.
The additions were plenty. We are not talking about for some refinement here and there as I thought, no no. The updating proved to be much more demanding. I did get in contact with real sailors that were working on Greek passenger ships for assistance. Their knowledge with real ships was vital, and they sat with me while I was working.
No Denis no, Tiberanic is a cruise ship yes? So you should add tons more windows and portholes on the damn thing. Also the Funnels deck seems to be very empty for a cruise ship. You should add things there as well. And so I did (you can read what's have been added in detail here).
This updating helped me with the writing as well. I now had a clear picture of what this new place looks like thanks to the new Tiberanic.
Thus making the writing more vivid. This remastering also made me update the website as well to this. It's final form.
Remember to always evolve and improve yourself. Learn and adapt with times and stay on track.
The remastering also helped me as a person too. I stopped dating, and shifted my focus entirely on my work with Tiberanic. This made me realize that I'm getting older and I just had to finish the book at some point! So since then my main focus is Tiberanic, and the 1st book will be finished soon! I'm very happy with my progress with Tiberanic, and the progress with myself as a person.
Tiberanic really pushes me to improve, learn and adapt!
Tiberanic nowadays is getting great feedback and if you never heard about
her or the book before, a big hello, a warm hug from me and
